The dishes we had were very good. The service was also great, very friendly. Also, prices were very modest. I definitely want to come back. Perhaps next time I'm in Richmond Hill.

This place is my go to Chinese restaurant for family meals! There is always something for everyone, including a great selection of beverages! I am subtracting a point because I had to park two plazas over the parking lot was very hectic and packed with cars waiting to swipe a spot. My recommendations are the bubble tea , Ying yang fried rice, and turnip cubes!

In my opinion, the closest one can get to Hong Kong style cuisine. There's a lot on the menu that appears to include traditional Chinese cuisine as well but their Curry Beef Brisket with rice is eerily identical to a similar dish I enjoyed at the Fairwood chain of restaurants in Hong Kong. Even the milk tea is just perfect Hong Kong style too. Some of my favorites include crispy noodles with beef and chinese broccoli, popcorn chicken Taiwanese style, Chicken with cashew and vegetables and my personal favorite Curry beef brisket with rice. Love this location compared to the one on Leslie and Finch, please make sure the chef stays for long.

Back at Congee Wong. Looks like a new menu offering New Takeout Combo. Two items 32.95 Three items 43.95 Four items 55.95 Combos also include streamed rice, choice of Hot & Sour Soup or Chicken with Sweet Corn Soup. I chose the following items for my Three Item Combo: Eggplant with Minced Pork & Salted Fish was really delicious & saucy. But I did not taste enough of the Salted Fish tho. Sweet and Sour Pork with good sized pieces, not heavily battered and not too sweet or tart. And Spice & Pepper Pork Chop... the meat was tender and juicy. Also added fried rice Yeung Chow style. A classic that's always a favourite with BBQ Pork, Shrimp, Peas and Egg. I would definitely order from Congee Wong again. Can't go wrong here with quality dishes and generous portions. A good selection dishes is offered on the menu for you to create your own combo. The combos are a cash deal only. I’ve been a loyal customer of Congee Wong at Finch & Leslie for over 20 years. The food is always well-made, fresh, and full of flavor. Whether it’s their signature congee, noodle dishes, or stir-fries, everything is consistently delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service every time. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and has a comfortable interior. Parking is also convenient, making it easy to dine in without hassle. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and I always leave satisfied. This has been my go-to spot for years, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great Chinese food in the area.

Had the set 438 for 10 Chinese New Year banquet dinner here last night. 23 guests two tables. Great value banquet dinner compared to all other restaurants, even in Scarborough!!! Service was great and food very tasty! Dessert was a cold Dessert and was amazing! Added extra crab claws and veggie dishes and ended up 56 pp include tax and tip. Cash only. Still, great value!!

Hidden gem is the soft shell crab spicy rice my go-to order, it's a definite must try. I usually get takeout rather than dine in so I can't really give an informative review based on that factor. Also must try is the chilli turnup patties as they are a great appetizer they have a bit of spice so for those who can't handle it see if they can make it without.
